Data Modeller for Palo released
Based on a relation database we have designed a data modeller - our Repository Manager (RM) with advanced features for user and organization management.
Hamburg, Sept. 2007, to address the needs for broad and flexible specs for corporate controllers, we have designed a tool, to facilitate the creation and modification of OLAP data models stored within PALO.
This tool stores the data for the future data structure within a relational database, therefor we can use the features of such a DBMS, like referential integrity. This is for example important during the modification of ACL's and the underlying groups and users or by referencing elements for mapping purposes. Referential integrity guarantees, elements, which are referenced elsewhere, may not be deleted (so the reference would be linked to nothing ....).
