Pentaho / Kettle based rule engine for currency recalc released

Hamburg, March 2008 we have implemented and tested our brand new rule engine based on Kettle (now Pentaho Data Integration) to run batch transformations within the OLAP Cubes operated in the Palo (www.jedox.com) environment. Based on our Javascript Designer and the Palo integration it is easy to create own rules, to test and run them, based on the job scheduler within Kettle or based on calls from Palo cube changes. This rule engine is open for the open source community and can be obtained from our website.
The rules defined within the Kettle environment can be uploaded and managed from our management GUI, based on Tomcat http management GUI, developed by us.
